Highlights from the past five days:
• I went to Ichthus Christian Music Festival in Wilmore, KY for 3 days.
• Watching Newsboys, Mute Math, John Reuben, Thousand Foot Krutch, Kutless, Pillar, Falling Up, Further Seems Forever, Relient K, and Michael W. Smith.
• Spending time with Dwight Robertson, Adrian Despres, Jeremy Kingsley, and other KBM staff members. Especially talking with Dwight.
• Talking to the lead singer from Thousand Foot Krutch.
• Talking to the guys from Anberlin.
• Standing right next to the Barlow Girls.
• Meeting the Director of the movie Most.
• Backstage pass for the whole festival.
• Becoming obsessed with Mute Math.
• Seeing Michael W. Smith play as it snows at the end of April.
• Not a highlight: Toby Mac being cancelled due to bad weather.
• Seeing Mute Math and Mat Kearney play here in Louisville.
• Meeting Paul and Greg from Mute Math and also meeting Michael Tait from DC Talk.
• Free lunch at Cracker Barrel.
• Getting to watch Beyond the Gates of Splendor tonight. An advanced screening of the new movie about Jim Elliot (my hero) and the missionaries that were killed in South America.
