CHAMPIONS LEAGUE = MARSEILLE!!

Tonight is the game!!
Marseille is in Group D of the Champions League. It has also been called the Group of Death! We are the 3rd seed out of four. The teams are Liverpool, PSV Eindhoven, us (Olympique de Marseille), and Atletico Madrid. All of these teams are solid and who knows what will happen. We play Liverpool tonight. It is a rematch of last season.

Last season, we went to Liverpool and won 1-0 at Anfield which was amazing! When Liverpool came to Marseille to play us, they had to win to advance and they made sure of that with a 4-0 win. Now, we have a chance to get revenge. Liverpool won at home against my other team Manchester United on Saturday to my surprise. So, they may have their guard down. We still don't know how fit Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres are for Liverpool.

Liverpool are the most successful club in the history of English football and won this competition in 2005 after being down 3-0 in the first half and coming back to score three in the second half and win on penalty kicks!!!
